What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is the study and knowledge of the science of movement of the human body. It is the respect, understanding and treatment of the human body’s articulation, muscle movement and agility. When these aspects are injured, it is the knowledge of this science that allows to execute a treatment plan for repair, recovery and intended health. Physiotherapy can also be a preventive care service in order to avoid injury.
When should I see a physiotherapist?
Think Preventive or Rehabilitation
If you have an injury, chronic pain, daily repetitive usage, hardship on the body that affects your every day function, then it is a wise idea to include a physiotherapist in your health care regime.
After surgeries that impinge on muscles, limbs and or joints, it is wise to implement the use of a physiotherapist.
Concussion? Both our Physiotherapists and Chiropractors can assist in care.
Prevention is vital in protecting yourself from unwanted injury from sports, work, and other such activities.
